DMARC works alongside SPF and DKIM to tell receiving mail servers what to do with messages that fail authentication — helping protect your domain from spoofing and improving inbox deliverability.
Example record
Add a TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.com with a value like:
v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; rua=mailto:[email protected]; ruf=mailto:[email protected];
Replace yourdomain.com and the email addresses with your own domain and reporting address. The p=quarantine policy sends failing messages to spam rather than rejecting them outright — a safer starting point than p=reject while you confirm your setup is working correctly.
