If you'd rather configure Outlook manually instead of using the built-in device wizard, here's how to set it up on Windows using Outlook 2016.
Steps
- Open the Control Panel (search for it from the Start Menu).
- Set View by to Small Icons in the top-right corner, then click Mail.
- In the Mail Control Panel, click Show Profiles, then Add to create a new profile. Name it whatever you like and click OK.
- Choose Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
- Choose Internet E-mail and click Next.
- Enter the following account details:
- Email Address: your email address
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming Mail Server: imap.us.appsuite.cloud
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.us.appsuite.cloud
- User Name: your email address
- Password: your mailbox password
- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server tab, then check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- On the Advanced tab, set the connection encryption to SSL, and set the ports:
- Incoming (IMAP): 993
- Outgoing (SMTP): 587
- Click OK, then Next — Outlook will send a test message to confirm everything works.
Give it about 15 minutes after setup before troubleshooting, to allow mail to fully download.
